02 Nov 2018 : Runcorn Linnets support Big Relay for Children in Need

Runcorn Linnets had some unfamiliar but very welcome visitors this morning when the Big Learner Relay for BBC Children in Need stopped off at The Millbank Linnets Stadium.

They are conducting a two-week, 3,000-mile nationwide relay consisting of driving lessons by qualified instructors, to raise money for CiN, and used our car park as a handover point.

A fleet of about 15 cars made the stadium pit stop on day one of a marathon, which will culminate in a circuit of Silverstone race track on Children in Need Day itself - Friday, November 16th.

We will be holding a collection at tomorrow's EVO-STIK League West Division home game against Leek Town in support of The Big Learner Relay.

We wish them the all the very best with their fundraising!
