Runcorn beat Warrington Town after penalties in the Integro Cup first round at The Millbank Linnets Stadium with a score of 5-4. The score was 1-1 after extra time. Warrington Town went ahead in the 35th minute from a free kick. Louis Corrigan equalised from a brilliant penalty in added time of the first half. Louis Corrigan scored his penalty. Runcorn beat Colne in the EVO-STIK First Division West at The Millbank Linnets Stadium with a score of 2-0. Freddie Potter scored for the Linnets in the 60th minute with a well-placed strike from just outside the 6 yard box. Aaron Morris increased the Linnets' lead with a firm header from a corner that flew into the top right corner in the 74th minute. Match Report

Runcorn beat Colwyn Bay in the EVO-STIK First Division West at Llanelian Road with a score of 0-1. Paul Shanley scored for the Linnets with a cracking strike from just outside the 6 yard box after some great build up play in the 60th minute. Match Report
07 Sep 2018 : Oh brother! Runcorn Linnets sign Connor McCarthy
Michael Ellison has made striker Connor McCarthy the latest addition to the Runcorn Linnets family.
The 23-year-old is the brother of midfielder Ronnie, 24, who rejoined the club this summer for a second spell.
Connor arrives at The Millbank after being a regular for National League North outfit FC United of Manchester last season, scoring nine goals from 42 appearances.
Having begun his senior career at Prescot Cables and Skelmersdale United, Connor was signed by Southport where he played in the top division of the National League.
While at the Sandgrounders, he spent time on loan at AFC Telford United before joining the Shropshire club on a permanent deal in September 2016.
After a being loaned to EVO-STIK League Premier Division side Warrington Town early last year, Connor was allowed to leave by Telford at the end of 2016-17 and moved to FC United in July 2017.
Throughout his career, Connor has been renowned for his work rate and commitment and Linnets boss Ellison said: 'This is a big signing for us.
'I'm obviously delighted to get him in. He had a number of options but chose Runcorn Linnets.'
05 Sep 2018 : Jimmy Moore leaves The Millbank for Trafford return
Last season's Supporters Club Player of the Year Jimmy Moore has left Runcorn Linnets for fellow EVO-STIK League Division One West club Trafford.
Trafford had served Linnets with seven days' notice of approach for the Hallmark Security League title-winning central defender.
Jimmy played for Trafford earlier in his career with the move also taking him close to home.
Linnets manager Michael Ellison said: "Jimmy has decided to leave and it is not a decision he has taken lightly.
"But ultimately, it's his local club and they have made him a great offer.
"I would like to thank him for everything he has done and helped us to achieve last season.
"We wish Jimmy all the best and look forward to seeing him again when we visit Trafford for the return fixture".
Jimmy leaves after appearing 47 times for the Linnets.
