16 Mar 2023 : Champion midfielder Kieran Nolan returns to Runcorn Linnets

Runcorn Linnets manager Dave Wild has bolstered our squad for the promotion push with the signing of Kieran Nolan.

Kieran, 26, is already a very familiar face at Linnets, having made 68 appearances for the club and helping us to win the North West Counties League Premier Division title in 2017-18.

He is also no stranger to boss Dave Wild, who managed Kieran at Mossley - the club the defensive midfielder joined from Runcorn in November 2018.

Kieran had two stints with Mossley either side of a brief stay at Atherton Collieries and a loan return to Northwich Vics, from where he originally arrived at Runcorn as a 19-year-old in January 2017.

On re-signing Kieran for Mossley, Wildy described him as "everything I want in a player", adding "He's committed and takes responsibility for his performances."

Since leaving us, Kieran has also served Bury AFC, Colwyn Bay and Abbey Hey.

He rejoins from NWCL Division One North club Daisy Hill, having made 29 appearances this season.
