07 Mar 2023 : Update on ticket allocation for Macclesfield fixture
Our initial announcement yesterday about ticketing arrangements for the Macclesfield away game has created some panic among our supporters, fearing that they will not be able to purchase a ticket once Trust Members and Season Ticket holders have taken their priority tickets.
Our statement did state that tickets would go on general sale after this week but for clarity, the club has received an initial allocation of 500 tickets (more could be made available should they sell out).
Standing and seating areas are available to our supporters.
We strongly advise Runcorn Linnets fans who are considering or have already applied for tickets in the home end to think again as proof of address is required. Anyone with a non-local address will not be permitted entry.
Club chairman Peter Cartledge said: "Runcorn Linnets thank Macclesfield FC, particularly director Robbie Savage and club secretary Patrick Birch for their assistance so far with the timely provision of tickets and planning for the fixture."

04 Mar 2023 : Linnets chairman apologises to Macclesfield for post-match fan misbehaviour
We have been made aware of some disturbing behaviour from a small number of our supporters after Tuesday's Cheshire Senior Cup victory over Macclesfield.
It has been reported that Macc's director of football, Robbie Savage was verbally abused by fans, who had congregated by the tunnel as players and officials left the field with an allegation being made that he was spat at.
A further post-match incident, on the club car park, has been reported. This involved Mr Savage again being subjected to words of abuse as he prepared to leave the site with a sticker being placed on the window of a car belonging to Robert Smethurst, the Macclesfield FC owner.
Linnets chairman Peter Cartledge has condemned the actions of those responsible, insisting that any such incidents will not be tolerated.
He said: "Runcorn Linnets take any reports of crowd misconduct very seriously. There is no place for such behaviour at APEC Taxis Stadium and we will not allow the club's good reputation and relationships with other clubs to be damaged by such actions.
"We take a pride in the welcome afforded to all, who visit the stadium.
"We love the loud, raucous and unwavering support of our fans but this behaviour goes beyond that. It is completely unacceptable.
"I am disgusted by what happened and sincerely apologise to Robert Smethurst, Robbie Savage, Macclesfield FC and anyone else who might have been affected by this.
"If it comes to light who the culprits are, we will have no hesitation in banning them from our ground for all future matches."
03 Mar 2023 : St Kitts and Nevis ace Raheem Hanley signs on
Runcorn Linnets have captured versatile St Kitts and Nevis international Raheem Hanley from Stalybridge Celtic.
He operates on the left of defence or midfield but can also play in central midfield.
Born in Blackburn, 29-year-old Raheem joined Stalybridge from New Mills of the NWCL, having gained Northern Premier League experience with Radcliffe.
Raheem began footballing life with Fletcher Moss Rangers, the Manchester junior club which first nurtured the talents of England stars Wes Brown, Jesse Lingard, Marcus Rashford and Danny Welbeck.
He joined the youth system at Manchester United before moving to Blackburn Rovers, penning a professional deal in 2012.
A move to Swansea followed in 2014 before spells at Northampton Town, Halifax and Chorley.
Raheem has also featured for Hereford and Mossley.
He played three times for England Under 19s and has made eight appearances for St Kitts and Nevis.
