Runcorn drew with Barnoldswick Town in the The Hallmark Security League Premier Division at The Millbank Linnets Stadium with a score of 1-1. Danny O'Brien put the Linnets ahead in the 28th minute from a curling corner. Barnoldswick Town equalised in the 73rd minute from the penalty spot. Match Report

Runcorn Linnets boss Michael Ellison has signed Rio Gill, a young striker or winger.
Rio was previously with Everton Academy and his last club was Trafford in the Evo-Stik League.
The stepson of our former left back Martin Crowder, Rio has impressed the Linnets management with his ability and pace.

Runcorn beat Team Northumbria in the The Buildbase FA Vase first round replay at The Millbank Linnets Stadium with a score of 3-2. Kristian Holt put the Linnets ahead with a cheeky tap from a corner in the 26th minute. Mark Houghton increased the Linnets' lead in the 39th minute with a cracking shot from close range. Danny O'Brien extended our lead with a fantastic penalty in the 40th minute. Team Northumbria pulled one back in the 59th minute. 63 mins:Adam Jones off injured - Mitch Bryant on.
