01 Sep 2017 : Come and try 'Linnets Ale' this Saturday!
Runcorn Linnets are launching 'Linnets Ale' in partnership with local brewers Chapter Brewing Company, who are based in Sutton Weaver.
Local beer blogger Kirsty Walker (ladysinksthebooze.co.uk) describes the beer as 'a beautifully malty American pale ale, with a citrus kick from the aromatic Columbus hops' and we are giving you the chance to taste it for yourself this weekend at our match versus Padiham FC.
Small samples of the beer will be available to taste in the clubhouse before and after the match so please pop in and let us know what you think.
Cheers!

26 Aug 2017 : Supporters pay tribute to the late Jean Clare
Runcorn Linnets observed a period of silence before last night's game against Winsford United in memory of Jean Clare, who passed away earlier in the week after a long illness.
Jean was very well known to fans from her long service in the canteen at Runcorn AFC matches.
Jean ran the canteen in the Supporters Club building at Canal Street for many years, firstly alongside her father, Jack Howard and later with her daughter, Julie.
She was also actively involved with the reserve team of the 1970s and '80s, meticulously laundering, mending and maintaining the kit.
At the time, her husband Terry was reserve team secretary and subsequently chairman.
On the disbanding of the reserves, Jean and Terry became regulars on the Linnets Travel Club, following the first team all over the country.
Terry, who has a long association with the Cheshire County and Runcorn District FAs, is a regular at Runcorn Linnets' home matches. In later life, Jean joined Terry in supporting the county youth team.
The funeral is on Wednesday, September 6th with the service at Holy Trinity Church in Runcorn at 2.30pm being followed by cremation at Walton Lea.
Donations are being accepted for Halton Haven and Myeloma Society UK.
All at the club extends deepest sympathies to Terry, son Michael and daughter Julie.
