Defender Vita Mbdokele has been added to our first-team squad ahead of this afternoon's Non-League Day visit of Padiham.

Vita, who plays right full back or centre back, has previously been with Bootle and AFC Fylde and is currently also on the books of Southport FC. His Linnets registration has been confirmed by the Hallmark Security League and he is available for selection this afternoon.

We'd like to welcome Vita to the Millbank Linnets Stadium and hope he enjoys his stay!

Steve Foster extended our lead in the 79th minute following a firm header from inside the 6 yard box.
