Runcorn beat Runcorn Town in the North West Counties Premier League at The Millbank Linnets Stadium with a score of 2-1. Runcorn Town scored in the 17th minute. Kevin Towey equalised with a dipping shot from inside the box in the 38th minute. Freddie Potter put the Linnets ahead in the 75th minute with a firm header in the 6 yard box. Match Report

Runcorn beat Alsager Town in the North West Counties Premier League at Town Ground with a score of 3-4. Lee Thompson put the Linnets ahead with a coolly taken shot from inside the 6 yard box in the 17th minute. Francis Smith increased the Linnets' lead with a fantastic strike from inside the area in the 31st minute. Alsager Town closed the gap in the 36th minute. Alsager Town equalised in the 53rd minute. Tommo missed a penalty in the 55th. Alsager Town scored in the 66th minute. Chris Lomax equalised with a well placed shot from inside the 6 yard box in the 69th minute. Ross McDowell scored for the Linnets with a fantastic strike from inside the 6 yard box in added time of the second half. Match Report
20 Dec 2014 : Frontman Kurt Sherlock joins from Bootle
Runcorn Linnets manager Joey Dunn has this morning added to his table-topping squad with the capture of striker Kurt Sherlock from Bootle.
Kurt joined the Bucks in August 2014, scoring on his debut against Maine Road, underlining his scoring credentials with a number of further goals, including a hat-trick against Abbey Hey.
We welcome Kurt to the Millbank Linnets Stadium and wish him every success with Runcorn Linnets.
20 Dec 2014 : Youth team pair sign senior registration
Runcorn Linnets are delighted to announce that the club has registered two of its youth-team players on senior forms.
The signings of Adam Hadley and Christopher Ellams is testimony to the excellent performances of the Linnets in the North West Youth Alliance this season and also the ability of the two young players concerned.
We wish Adam and Christopher every success in their burgeoning careers with the Linnets.
08 Dec 2014 : League award is consolation for injured Kyle Hamid
Kyle Hamid has landed the North West Counties League's Premier Division Player of the Month award as reward for his consistently high standard of performance - and consolation for the injury he suffered in the final match of November.
The club sends its congratulations to Kyle on the accolade along with hopes for his continued recovery.
