06 Sep 2014 : Kyle Armstrong joins Runcorn Linnets from Northwich Victoria

Runcorn Linnets boss Joey Dunn has drafted Kyle Armstrong into the ranks ahead of today's top-of-the-table game at Glossop North End – the 28-year-old, who has signed from Northwich Victoria, being reunited with the manager he previously played for at Burscough.

Kyle is a 6ft right-side midfield player or full-back and Joey feels he will bring extra balance to the squad. The newcomer was at Preston North End for three seasons from 2002 and has also played for York City, Chorley, Skelmersdale, Airbus UK, and his native Southport.

We welcome Kyle to the Millbank Linnets Stadium and wish him success at the club.
