Runcorn beat Congleton Town in the North West Counties Premier League at Booth Street with a score of 1-2. Congleton Town scored in the 4th minute from an own goal from Matt Cross. Chris Lomax scored in the 15th minute with a dipping shot. Kevin Towey put the Linnets ahead from inside the 6 yard box in the 68th minute.

03 Aug 2014 : The Linnets do their bit to support Prostate Cancer UK (@ProstateUK)

Prostate Cancer UK is the North West Counties Football League's first official Charity Partner, and the club wanted to help support this worthwhile cause. In addition to having a ground-side board made up to publicise the charity to visitors at the Millbank Linnets Stadium, which will be unveiled in the coming weeks, all proceeds from selling team sheets on matchdays will go to Prostate Cancer UK.

Runcorn beat Stockport Sports in the North West Counties Premier League at The Millbank Linnets Stadium with a score of 3-2. Kevin Towey put the Linnets ahead from inside the penalty area in the 19th minute. Levi Kennedy increased the Linnets' lead from inside the 6 yard box in the 21st minute. Stockport Sports closed the gap in added time of the first half. Stockport Sports equalised in the 66th minute. Michael Burke put the Linnets ahead with a thunderous strike in the 83rd minute. Stockport down to 10 men in the 86th minute.

Runcorn lost to Bamber Bridge in the Pre-season warm up at The Millbank Linnets Stadium with a score of 1-2. Matty Atherton put the Linnets ahead with a cheeky tap in the 1st minute. Bamber Bridge equalised in the 27th minute. Bamber Bridge went ahead in the 45th minute from the penalty spot.
