THE Millbank Linnets Stadium will welcome young players from Vauxhall Motors and Warrington Town for Cheshire County Football Association's 2013-14 Youth Cup final. The tie on Sunday, April 6th (kick off 11am) follows hot on the heels of the Linnets staging a Cheshire Amateur Cup semi-final, featuring Vauxhall Motors' reserve side.

Their 2-0 defeat of Cammell Laird Reserves last night ensures a new name will go on to the trophy. Two goals from Jordan Brierley, including a late penalty, sent the Motormen through to the competition's final for the first time. They will face Stockport Georgians, who have likewise never lifted the Cheshire Amateur Cup.
