RUNCORN Linnets FC are delighted to announce that Reg Woods has today joined the Trust board as a co-opted member.

Reg is a Linnets fan of very long standing and has done a tremendous amount of work behind the scenes as the club’s kit manager. He has been a member of the Trust since June 2006.

The appointment returns membership of the board to its full complement of 12, following the resignation of Vernon Dwerryhouse in March this year.

A very popular figure both within the club and also in the dressing room, Reg will serve on the board until December at which point he has the option of standing in the annual Trust board elections.

We are sure that all Trust members and supporters will join in congratulating Reg and also welcoming him into his new role.

Chris Lomax equalised with a dipping shot in the 63rd minute. Chris Lomax put the Linnets ahead with a fantastic strike in the 86th minute.
