20 Jul 2013 : Runcorn draw with West Didsbury & Chorlton 2-2
Runcorn drew with West Didsbury & Chorlton in the Pre-season Warm Up at Brookburn Road with a score of 2-2. A Trialist scored for the Linnets with a header in the 18th minute. West Didsbury & Chorlton equalised in the 32nd minute. West Didsbury & Chorlton went ahead in added time of the first half. Michael Burke equalised with a header from a corner in the 89th minute.
16 Jul 2013 : Runcorn beat Atherton L.R. 0-5
Runcorn beat Atherton L.R. in the Pre-season Warm Up at Crilly Park with a score of 0-5. Adam Wade put the Linnets ahead from a free kick in the 13th minute. Ross McDowell increased the Linnets' lead with a dipping shot in the 39th minute. Mark Houghton extended our lead from the penalty spot in the 56th minute. Chris Lomax put us four goals clear with a close range shot in the 83rd minute. A Trialist added another to our tally with a dipping shot in the 88th minute.
09 Jul 2013 : Runcorn lose to Barnton 3-0
Runcorn lost to Barnton in the Pre-season Warm Up at Townfield Lane with a score of 3-0. Barnton went ahead in the 14th minute amidst calls for offside. Barnton increased their lead in the 70th minute. Barnton extended their lead in the 90th minute.
06 Jul 2013 : FA Cup and FA Vase Draws have been made
The FA has published the early round draws for this season's F.A Cup competition. We start our Cup campaign against Maine Road away on 17th Aug in the Extra Preliminary Round and the winner will be away to Ossett Albion. The winner of that tie will play at home to Runcorn Town, Winterton Rangers, Armthorpe Welfare or Glossop North End.
In the FA Vase we are away to Irlam on 7th September in the First Qualifying Round and the winners are home to Maltby Main or Squires Gate.
The newly formed u18s team play in the FA Youth Cup, and start their campaign away to Glossop North End.
