Club Captain Rob Whyte has signed for rivals Runcorn Town. Everybody at the Linnets wishes Rob good luck at his new club.

Runcorn beat Squires Gate in the North West Counties Premier League at School Road with a score of 0-1. Sean Breen scored for the Linnets with a close range shot in the 28th minute. Match Report
06 Dec 2012 : Runcorn Linnets Trust 2012 Election Results
At this evening’s annual meeting of Runcorn Linnets FC Limited at the Millbank Linnets Stadium, six candidates contested five vacancies on the Trust board.
The election count was conducted and verified by two independent adjudicators, Chris Stirrup and Alan Harrison from the AFC Liverpool Supporters Trust.
The result was as follows:
Rob Johnston : 73 votes Steve Pritchard : 72 votes Hedley Edwards : 69 votes John Greenhalgh : 69 votes Ciaran Clotworthy : 60 votes Darren Law : 17 votes
Rob Johnston, Steve Pritchard, Hedley Edwards, John Greenhalgh and Ciaran Clotworthy are therefore re-elected to the Trust board for the next two years.
03 Dec 2012 : New assistant manager appointed
Chris Fitzsimmons has this evening decided to leave Runcorn Linnets FC following the resignation of Paul McNally. We wish Chris all the very best and thank him for all his efforts on behalf of the Linnets. Chris has asked us to pass on thanks to all those at the Millbank Linnets Stadium who have supported him.
Joey Dunn has this evening announced the appointment of Stuart Humphreys to the position of assistant manager. Stuart has recently been assistant manager at AFC Liverpool and was previously Joey’s assistant at Warrington Town. We welcome Stuart to the club and wish him well.
01 Dec 2012 : Runcorn beat Ashton Athletic 0-6
Runcorn beat Ashton Athletic in the North West Counties Premier League at Brocstedes Park with a score of 0-6. Tommy Turner scored for the Linnets after a scrabble in front of goal in the 1st minute. Matty Atherton increased the Linnets' lead from outside the box in the 11th minute. Martin Crowder extended our lead from the penalty spot in the 38th minute. Sean Breen put us four goals clear with a header from a corner in the 59th minute. Sean Breen added another to our tally with a close range shot in the 65th minute. Sean Breen continued the domination with a header in the 72nd minute. Match Report
