Maine Road equalised in the 39th minute. Maine Road went ahead in the 50th minute. Maine Road increased the lead in the 77th minute. Maine Road extended the lead in added time of the second half.

The Juniors, who have been officially known as "Inter Linnets", have now completed their name change, and we've had confirmation from the Cheshire FA that they are now officially "Runcorn Linnets Juniors FC", and we are all now affiliated under the one number.

There will still be some practical considerations over how the two organisations will continue to grow closer in the future, but it's great news for Football in the town, providing a continuous staircase of teams through from the under 6's kickers all the way up to Senior level.
