14 Jun 2022 : Rhain Hellawell hungry for more in 2022-23
Winger Rhain Hellawell is keen to make up for lost time after pledging his future to Runcorn Linnets.
Rhain has agreed terms for a second season at Linnets after seeing his first affected by injuries.
Although limited to 16 appearances, including 10 starts, in 2021-22 (with two goals scored), Rhain did more than enough to suggest that there is plenty to come from the speedy wideman.

10 Jun 2022 : Linnets sign Spanish midfielder Sidi from Macclesfield
Runcorn Linnets are delighted to unveil and welcome our latest acquisition.
Sidi Sanogo Fofana joins from North West Counties League Premier Division champions, Macclesfield.
Midfielder Sidi, a 23-year-old Spanish national, last season played 26 times for the now Northern Premier League West newboys.
Known for his vision and athleticism, Sidi is good with both feet, making him ideal for a central position.
His previous clubs also include UD Fraga, EF Fraga and UE Bordeta, all in his homeland, and since coming to England he has served AFC Darwen, Bamber Bridge and Radcliffe.
Living in Blackburn, Sidi joined Macclesfield last summer for the start of their first season and made a big impression with the fans.
He can operate as a holding midfielder or in a more attacking role.
Sidi was also registered with Glossop North End during 2021-22 - making six appearances for the Hillmen either side of Christmas and New Year.
These included a 1-1 league draw against Linnets at APEC Taxis Stadium.
Sidi is on a BA degree course in sports studies ,at University of Central Lancashire.
08 Jun 2022 : Sean O'Mahony named as new vice-captain
Sean O'Mahony will be the deputy to new club skipper James Short in the forthcoming campaign.
Sean had a fantastic season in 2021-22, his colossal performances at the heart of defence earning rave reviews from fans.
His form also brought him the award as Manager's Player of the Year.
Sean made more appearances over the campaign than any other Runcorn player.
He will be a very popular choice for vice-captain and we are certain he will make an excellent job of it.
07 Jun 2022 : James Short promoted to club captain at Runcorn Linnets
Manager Dave Wild has confirmed that last season's deputy skipper James Short will step up to the club captaincy after Peter Wylie's departure.
Firm fans favourite James has produced a high level of consistency in his performances since joining Linnets from Witton Albion, making the left back position his own.
All at the club congratulate James on his appointment.
We are sure he will make an excellent skipper.
07 Jun 2022 : Stalwart skipper Peter Wylie departs for City of Liverpool
Runcorn Linnets club captain and longest-serving player Peter Wylie has left the club after four seasons.
Having been at Linnets for all but one of our Northern Premier League games, Peter has opted to sign for City of Liverool.
He made 114 appearances for Linnets, including eight as a sub, and scored three goals.
He now rejoins the former Linnets managerial duo, boss Michael Ellison and assistant Matt Cross.
Peter has always led by example on the field and conducted himself well.
We are sad to see Peter leave but thank him for his contribution to the club and send him our best wishes for the future.
