Runcorn drew with Skelmersdale Utd in the Pre-season Warm Up at The Millbank Linnets Stadium with a score of 1-1. Danny Smith put the Linnets ahead from inside the 6 yard box in the 34th minute. Skelmersdale Utd equalised in the 89th minute.

Despite spending much of the match languishing 1-0 after a ex-Linnet Kevin Towey goal in the first ten minutes, Runcorn fought back in the second half, with a superb Jonah O'Reilly equialiser in the 48th minute. It wasn't until the last 10 minutes, however, before the Linnets let rip, and put another four past the hosts.

Tommy Turner equalised with a close range shot in the 77th minute.
