Runcorn lost to Runcorn Town in the North West Counties Premier League at Pavilions with a score of 3-2. Town ahead in the 5th minute, second in 52nd, third in 57th. Rob Whyte scored for Linnets in 70th, and Paul Prescot got the second in 88th.

Linnets Manager, Paul McNally, has added a few more players to his squad. Martin Pearson is a goalkeeper signed from Mossley, and up front he's brought in Robert Dutton, and ex-Linnet Billy Webb. We'd like to wish all of the lads good luck at the club.

After a fantastic effort from numerous volunteers, and the players themselves, to get the pitch ready for the match, Runcorn beat Silsden in the North West Counties Premier League at The Millbank Linnets Stadium with a score of 1-0. David Hill put the Linnets ahead in 25th minute with a fantastic 25 yard strike, which was the Linnets 500th competitive goal.

It's a warm welcome back for Ross Lloyd who has re-signed for the Linnets. Ross played for the Linnets in the latter part of last season, and everybody at the Linnets would like to wish him good luck upon his return to the club.

The election for 6 places on the Runcorn Linnets Trust Board was held at the AGM on 8th December, and saw the re-election of Mark Buckley, Vernon Dwerryhouse, Paul Eastup, Derek Greenwood, Lynn Johnston and Dave Rose. Commiserations to Darren Law who was unsuccessful this time.
