Runcorn Linnets first team play in the North West Counties Football League, and the Reserve and Youth squads compete in the Carlsberg West Cheshire League. The Charter Standard Award paves the way for a full integration with Inter Linnets Junior Football Club, who will hopefully be playing their football under the Runcorn Linnets name from next season.

Runcorn beat Stone Dominoes in the North West Counties Premier League at Motiva Park with a score of 5-8. Kev Towey scores three times in first 3 mins. Rob Whyte made it 4 in 26th minute. Dominoes score in 41st. Paul Prescot made it 5 in 53rd minute, and Rob Whyte in 55th. Dominoes second in 64th, third in 68th, fourth in 70th. Dominoes fifth in 75th from spot following Damien Eastham off injured, and Matty Atherton in goal. Rob Whyte made it 7 in 89th. Danny Smith in added time made it 8.
