Runcorn Linnets manager Paul McNally has been named North West Counties Footbal League Premier Division "Manager Of The Month" for the second successive month. Following his award in August, Macca picked up the September prize for the Linnets impressive run of cup results, which included wins against Mossley, Squires Gate, Bootle and Congleton Town.

Runcorn drew with AFC Blackpool in the North West Counties Premier League at The Millbank Linnets Stadium with a score of 3-3. Rob Whyte (12 mins) and Paul Prescott (27 mins) gave Runcorn a half time lead. AFC Blackpool scored twice straight after the break through a 48th minute Niall Cummins penalty and Steve Betteridge a minute later. Sean Pearson restored the lead for the Linnets on 77 minutes, with AFC Blackpool equalising five minutes later through Marc Beattie.

Runcorn lost to Glossop North End in the North West Counties Premier League at Surrey Street with a score of 5-0. Glossop opened the scoring after five minutes through Adam Oakes, got the second from the penalty spot on 46 minutes. Glossop added a three more goals in the last 15 minutes.
