The League Challenge Cup draw took place at the League AGM on 18th June, and Runcorn Linnets will play Ashton Town or Daisy Hill away on the 29th October. Full details of the draw are available on the League Website.

Runcorn Linnets Supporters are arranging a charity tournament to be held on the 31st of July in aid of Help for Heroes .

Daz Law, Manager of the Supporters' Team, said "We as a club believe that this a very worthy cause as all money raised will go towards all our great men and women who are and have been fighing for our country.

"We all either have family and friends who have fought or know of people close to us who have people still out there and people who have never returned, this is the reason that we are having this charity tournament and urge as many local people and businesses to get involved to raise as much as we can for all those great men and women."

The Tournament is to be held at Moorfield Sports and Social Club, Moorfield Road, Widnes, Cheshire, WA8 3HQ and is to start at 10am.

Friday night saw the annual players’ awards presentation take place at a packed Millbank Linnets Stadium. This was the first awards evening to be held at the stadium and the club was delighted with the excellent turn out and a very enjoyable evening was had by all. Main awards of the evening for Player of the Season went to Paul Prescott (First Team), Jack Webb (Reserve Team) and Luke Routledge (Youth Team). The Reserve Team also displayed the West Cheshire League Division 3 championship trophy alongside the Complete Focus Trophy. Pictures and winners can be found on the Presentation 2011 page.

Congratulations to the Runcorn Linnets Supporters' Team who beat Witton Albion Supporters 1-0 in their annual fixture in aid of the two clubs. The match raised over £90 in aid of ground development, and the club is very grateful to Daz Law and the lads.

The Runcorn Linnets Youth Team are looking for players for next season. Players should currently be in school years 11 & 12, and be available to start training on the 25th June.
