Runcorn lost to New Mills in the Vodkat Premier League at The Millbank Linnets Stadium with a score of 1-4. New Mills ahead in 24th, and got their second in 32nd. Third in 46th. Andy McCoy in 52nd. Alan Flemming stretchered off in 73rd. New Mills fourth in 80th.

03 Sep 2010 : Paul McNally named as Runcorn Linnets Manager

Runcorn Linnets Football Club are pleased to announce that Paul McNally has been confirmed as the new Manager at the Vodkat League Premier Division side. Paul arrives from Skelmersdale United with a vision to progress the club as well as realising the ambition and potential at The Millbank Linnets Stadium. Paul is well known to Runcorn fans having spent two spells at Runcorn FC during an illustrious career playing with clubs such as Marine and Southport, in recent seasons he has been Assistant Manager at Skelmersdale United.

31 Aug 2010 : Runcorn Linnets Youth claim "bragging rights"

In a match that had been billed by Runcorn Town as an opportunity to claim bragging rights, the first ever clash between Runcorn Linnets and Runcorn Town took place at Pavilions between the respective youth teams. Runcorn Linnets took the victory with a scoreline of 1-2.

A well struck penalty in the 43rd minute from Danny Hesketh put the Linnets ahead. Town responded with around 15 minutes to go, and Joey Ubido scored the clincher for the Linnets with five minutes left on the clock.

Well done lads!

29 Aug 2010 : Rob Whyte out for at least 4 weeks

Rob Whyte suffered injury in the last few minutes of the FA Cup match against Leigh Genesis. Unfortunately, he's suffered ligament damage, is on crutches, and looks to be out for a minimum of 4 weeks. Everybody wishes Rob well, and hopes he'll make a speedy recovery.

[Update 29/08/10 12:30 : Rob has a 3rd degree injury to his knee, and is to be on crutches for two weeks. The estimate for the amount of time he could be out for is potentially six weeks.]

28 Aug 2010 : Runcorn lose to Leigh Genesis 1-0

Runcorn lost to Leigh Genesis in the FA Cup - Preliminary Round at Crilly Park with a score of 1-0. Despite Runcorn having most chances, Leigh ahead in 36th minute.
