28 Aug 2010 : Lloyd Balazs to step up a couple of leagues

Runcorn Linnets Player of the Season, Lloyd Balazs, has been offered the chance to step up to a higher level after his excellent showing in Linnets colours last season. Despite having been dogged by injury during pre-season and at the start of this season, Lloyd is slowly regaining full fitness and has been approached by Evo Stick Premier side Kendal Town to join them. The Linnets have retained Lloyd’s registration for the Vodkat League and he will be more than happy to return to The Linnets if life at a higher level doesn’t work out. Lloyd leaves with our very best wishes and he has asked that we express his gratitude and sincere thanks to the board, members of the trust and the fans for all their great support and for the opportunity he has had at Runcorn Linnets.
