23 Apr 2010 : Pie-Warmer sticks with Linnets

Following the signing of Parry Pie-Warmer on Tuesday, there has been much speculation that this shock signing was too good to be true, and that Parry would be moving on before he'd even seen active service.

We can confirm that Parry will be staying put for the forseeable future. A club official has already checked out Parry's abilities, and was very impressed, describing Parry as a "beaut".

20 Apr 2010 : Lloyd Balazs picks up player of the Year

At a presentation prior to the Abbey Hey match, Lloyd Balazs was confirmed as the Player of the Year for the 2009/2010 season. Lloyd won with over 40% of the vote, with Paul Fildes coming second, and Rob Whyte third. Everybody associated with the club would like to congratulate Lloyd for his well deserved win!

20 Apr 2010 : Runcorn beat Abbey Hey 3-0

Runcorn beat Abbey Hey in the Vodkat Premier League at Wincham Park with a score of 3-0. Paul Fildes in 46th. Michael Case in 70th, and Rob Whyte in the 80th.

17 Apr 2010 : A big thank you to the Walkers

This years sponsored walkers took the 14 mile trip from Canal Street to Wincham Park in baking hot conditions in their stride. Despite one or two blisters, everybody completed the distance relatively unscathed, and have raised a good bit of money for the club in the process.
