Runcorn drew with Glossop North End in the Vodkat Premier League at Surrey Street with a score of 1-1. Jake Ellis put the Linnets ahead in 20th minute. However, early in the second half Ellis was sent off for his second yellow card. Ross Bain was sent off minutes later following a needless late challenge. Going down to nine in the course of a few minutes left the Linnets reeling a little, and Glossop capitalised and scored their equaliser in the 62nd minute. Runcorn then managed to hold Glossop at bay for the remaining 30 minutes with a sterling effort to come away with a well-earned point.
