Runcorn lost to Northwich Victoria in the Cheshire Senior Cup - Semi Final at Victoria Stadium with a score of 7-1. Northwich own goal in 19th, and equalised 6 minutes later, and ahead in 26th. Northwich in 46th amidst calls for a foul, and their fourth in the 53rd minute. Fifth in 68th minute, sixth 2 mins later. Seventh in 89th.

25 Jan 2010 : Club announces new Shirt Sponsor - Warrington Trophy World

The club are pleased to announce a new shirt sponsor in Warrington Trophy World. The club has been without a shirt sponsor after the previous deal fell through just before the start of the season. We are pleased to announce that Warrington Trophy World are now sponsoring the home shirts for the remainder of the season.

23 Jan 2010 : Runcorn lose to Wigan Robin Park 3-2

Runcorn lost to Wigan Robin Park in the Vodkat League Challenge Cup - 3rd Round at Robin Park Arena with a score of 3-2. Wigan ahead in 15th, and scored a second in 26th. Billy Webb scores in 32nd. Long time coming but Lloyd Balazs in 88th. Full time complete. Wigan ahead in last minutes of extra time from penalty spot. Runcorn penalty attempt saved after Wigan player intentionally hand balled to save a shot on the line.

19 Jan 2010 : Runcorn lose to AFC Blackpool 4-1

Runcorn lost to AFC Blackpool in the Friendly at Back Common Edge Road with a score of 4-1. Linnets went down after 20 mins. Rob Whyte equalised from penalty spot in 40th after a push on Paul Fildes. Blackpool ahead again in 46th, 3rd in 75th, 4th in 80th.

12 Jan 2010 : New signings : Adam Hunter and Andrew Edgar

The club has completed the signing of two players from Cefn Druids. They are midfielders Adam Hunter, who has played for the Linnets before, and Andrew Edgar. We'd like to welcome them to the club, and wish them good luck.
