Steve Wilkes has added to his defensive unit with the acquisition of Matt Ashcroft from Bamber Bridge. The 20 year old is a left footed defender, who plays centre-half or left-back. Everyone at the club would like to welcome him, and wish him every success at Runcorn Linnets.

Confirmation has just come through that Ricky is signing for Ashton Athletic. We would like to thank Ricky for all his efforts for the Linnets, in his two spells with us he has made 34 appearances, and scored twice. The Quarter Final draws for the Cheshire Senior Cup have been announced, and are available on the Cheshire FA website. The Linnets play Witton Albion "away" at Wincham Park on the 15th December.
