We'd like to welcome two new players to the club. The first is Kirk Marsden, a goalkeeper signed from Padiham, and the second is Michael Case a left winger from Bamber Bridge.

Runcorn beat Colne in the Vodkat Premier League at Wincham Park with a score of 3-1. Dave Sherlock put the Linnets ahead in 6th minute. Colne equaliser in 23rd. Paul Fildes in 76th minute, and Jay Edwards 3 minutes later. Match Report

17 Oct 2009 : Runcorn beat Abbey Hey 1-2
Runcorn beat Abbey Hey in the Vodkat Premier League at Abbey Stadium with a score of 1-2. Abbey Hey ahead in 4th minute. Paul Fildes equalised in 56th, and put the Linnets ahead in 83rd.
16 Oct 2009 : New goalkeeper signed
The Linnets have signed golkeeper Phil Priestley from Skelmersdale today. Phil started the season with Radcliffe Borough, and has previously played for Chorley and FC United. We'd like to welcome Phil, and wish him good luck at the club.
