Runcorn lost to St Helens Town in the Vodkat Premier League at Wincham Park with a score of 1-2. Rob Whyte from the penalty spot in the 5th minute. St Helens equaliser in 24th, ahead in 66th. Cunningham sent off in last minutes.

Runcorn beat Squires Gate in the Vodkat Premier League at Wincham Park with a score of 5-1. Rob Whyte put the Linnets ahead in the 21st minute from a cross from debutant Paul Fildes. The Linnets fans joy was very short lived, as Squires Gate equalised immediately, Paul Fildes put the Linnets ahead again in the 31st minute, and Rob Whyte made the score 3-1 in last seconds of the first half. The second half saw Paul Fildes score in the 78th minute, and complete his hattrick in the 82nd minute.

The club would like to welcome striker Paul Fildes who has signed for the club. Paul is a prolific and natural goal-scorer who has played for a number of teams in the past including AFC Fylde, Lancaster, and Kendal Town. We'd like to welcome Paul to the club, and assure him that a song will be prepared for him by the weekend. ;-)

Steve Park has had an operation on his knee today to try and address an ongoing problem. He'll be out of action for at least 6 weeks, and everybody at the club would like to wish him a full and speedy recovery.
