10 Dec 2005 : Runcorn beat Ilkeston Town 2-1

Runcorn continued their winning form with a 2-1 win over Ilkeston Town. Highlights included a penalty saved by Robbie Holcroft, in a heated encounter at Valerie Park.

03 Dec 2005 : Runcorn beat Gateshead 2-4

The Linnets turned in yet another confident performance at the Gateshead's International Stadium winning 2-4. With captain Paul Scott returning to the side after injury and new signing from Chorley, Antony Bowden making his debut in mid-field, the Linnets totally dominated the early stages and it was no surprise when they took the lead after just 11 minutes through Thomas Lamb.

29 Nov 2005 : Runcorn v Ashton Utd - Called Off

The UniBond Cup match against Ashton Utd was called off after just 15 minutes of play due to frozen pitch conditions. The match has been rearranged to be played on Tuesday, 6th December 2005.

22 Nov 2005 : Runcorn beat Skelmersdale United 0-2

Runcorn made a promising start in the Liverpool Senior Cup securing a 2-0 victory over Skelmersdale who had knocked us out of the FA Cup just over a month prior. Lee Furlong scored both of the goals from penalties in the dying minutes of the first and second halves.

Runcorn now go on to play Liverpool in the next round at Valerie Park.
