15 Jun 2005 : New Season Ticket Prices Announced

Following on from today's announcement regarding next season's gate prices, the club have also released details on 2005/06 Unibond League Season Tickets. As well as introducing a new season ticket for Under 16's, the club is also trialling an alternative way of paying for the season tickets which will continue in future seasons if successful.

Adult season tickets for the season will cost £125.00 with Concession season tickets costing £75.00. This gives approximately three games free compared to the cost of paying at each game. The "Under 16" season ticket which has been introduced will cost just £50.00, which works out at approximately nine games free, and every Under 16 taking out a ticket will receive a replica home shirt free of charge.

As commented above, the club is also trialling an alternative way of paying for season tickets this season. In previous years if supporters wanted to be a season ticket holder, they had to purchase it before the start of the season. However since many supporters have commented that it is a big outlay - especially after the summer holidays - the club are introducing an installment scheme whereby supporters can pay for their ticket over the first five months of the season.

Payments will start on the 1st of August and then on the 1st of each month until December. Adult Season Ticket payments will be £25.00 with Concessionary Season Ticket payments £15.00. Under 16's cannot pay for their season ticket in installments. Payments will be made either by Standing Order or by handing in four other post-dated cheques with your first payment.

Season ticket requests should be sent to: c/o Secretary, Runcorn FC Halton, Valerie Park, Hope Street, Prescot. L34 6HD.

15 Jun 2005 : Season 2005/06 Gate Prices Announced

After relegation from Conference North last season, Runcorn FC have announced a drop in admission prices ahead of the 2005/06 Unibond League season that kicks off in August.

Adult prices will be £7.00 per person, with concessions £4.00. Concessions still include OAP's, children under 16 and all those in full time education with a NUS card.

01 Jun 2005 : Runcorn look to return Home

Runcorn FC are in talks with Pavilions about a return to their home town. Plans to build a stadium of the required standard around an all-weather pitch at the Runcorn site, near the Ineos Chlor Site at Weston Point, could see the club return to the town in 2007. In the meantime, Valerie Park in Prescot will become the new home of Runcorn FC.

Following the sale of the Canal Street ground in 2001, the club left their home town to play at the Halton Stadium in Widnes, just over the water. Increased rents that were beyond the means of the club forced a withdrawal from the facility near the end of the 2004/2005 season. The remaining home matches were played at Valerie Park, with a notable exception of the final match of the season, which took place at Southport's Haig Avenue ground.

01 Jun 2005 : Soley Resigns - Carragher is new manager

Steve Soley has resigned his position as manager from the club for personal reasons, and the post has been taken up by assistant manager, Steve Carragher.
