07 Jun 2004 : Season Ticket Prices Announced

Following on from last week's announcement regarding gate prices next season, the club are now in a position to announce our season ticket prices. We apologise for the delay, but we felt that we should wait until after the Conference AGM this weekend so that we know how many teams will be in Nationwide Conference North next season.

Adult Season ticket prices next season will be £125.00, which represents a drop of £5.00 on last season's prices. Concessions, which next season are the over 60's and those in Full Time Education, can get a season ticket for just £62.50.

This sees a saving of £22.00 and £11.00 respectively on the cost of getting into all 21 home league games – effectively giving supporters three games free.

However if supporters get their season tickets before the end of June, then they will be eligible to a discount of 10%, which brings the cost of a ticket to £112.50 and £56.25. This will make Runcorn one of the cheapest clubs in the country in which to watch Conference level football next season.

Application forms for season tickets will be available at the Information Centre in Church Street, Runcorn or the Halton Stadium reception area in Widnes from tomorrow. You will also be able to download a form off the club official website from tomorrow.

- A new cup competition will be introduced also with all 66 Conference teams being involved.
- Teams will play 1 - 11, with no squad numbers or names on shirts.
- Ashton United were confirmed as members for next season, with the league therefore having 22 members.
- Fixtures will be around June 24th, with the season commencing on August 14th.

01 Jun 2004 : No Change To Ticket Prices

Runcorn FC Halton are pleased to announce that we will be kicking off the inaugural Conference North season in August with the cheapest gate prices in the league. For the fourth successive season there will be a freeze on admission prices for league games at the Halton Stadium.

Despite most clubs in Conference North raising admission prices for the new league, the board at Runcorn feel that the loyal supporters who got behind the club in the Unibond Premier League last season should be rewarded.

Adults will pay £7.00, with Concessions paying just £3.50. Concessions next season will include the over 60’s and those in full time education.

For the under 14’s, the club will be continuing its revolutionary “Kids Go Free” scheme next season – the only club in Conference North to offer such a scheme. Every child under the age of 14 will be admitted free to league matches if accompanied by a paying adult – regardless of which club they support.

The club will also be allowing students entry for £3.50 next season upon production of their NUS Cards at the turnstiles.

Season tickets prices will be announced on Monday.

01 Jun 2004 : John Ryder

It is with great regret that the club have to announce the death of former Runcorn FC Halton midfielder John Ryder. John passed away at hospital after being involved in a traffic accident in St Helens on Sunday evening. He was just 21. The thoughts of everybody connected with Runcorn FC Halton are with John's family at this time.
