Runcorn came away with one point from the away match with Harrogate. Kevin Leadbetter hit the post in the first half, but Steve Daly managed to score the goal that put Runcorn into the lead in the second half. Harrogate managed to equalise just five minutes from full time.

Runcorn went 0-1 down in the 25th minute in a first half that saw them have most of the possession, but unable to make any of their chances stick. The equaliser came in the 60th minute from Ged Courtney in his debut for Runcorn.
