13 Sep 2003 : Runcorn draw with Harrogate 1-1

Runcorn came away with one point from the away match with Harrogate. Kevin Leadbetter hit the post in the first half, but Steve Daly managed to score the goal that put Runcorn into the lead in the second half. Harrogate managed to equalise just five minutes from full time.

09 Sep 2003 : Runcorn beat Southport 0-3

Goals from Matty McGinn, Keving Leadbetter, and Steve Daly saw Runcorn beat Southport at Haig Avenue.

06 Sep 2003 : Runcorn lose to Spennymoor United 1-2

A goal in the dying seconds in the match snatched victory for visitors Spennymoor. Runcorn went 0-1 down in the 25th minute in a first half that saw them have most of the possession, but unable to make any of their chances stick. The equaliser came in the 60th minute from Ged Courtney in his debut for Runcorn.

02 Sep 2003 : Runcorn draw with Radcliffe 2-2

Despite having a 2-0 advantage in just 3 minutes with goals from David Ness, and Steve Daly, Runcorn were unable to make the advantage stick. Some baffling decisions from the officials in the first half, and a scrappy second half saw Radcliffe pull back two goals for the draw.
