Runcorn FC Halton have completed the signing of local young striker Steve Daly whose progress had been monitored closely at the end of last season.

Runcorn FC Halton have drawn Marine away in the first round of the Unibond League Cup. Ties to be played on Tuesday 21st October 2003 to a conclusion with extra time and penalties.

Despite enjoying a 3-0 lead from two Chris Lightfoot goals, and one from Kevin Leadbetter, Runcorn were unable to maintain the advantage in the final game of the season, and conceded three goals to the home side for a 3-3 draw.

Season Ticket holders were presented with their signed shirts from the Bristol Rovers and the Management team of Liam Watson and Neil Whalley received a gift in recognition of their work this season.

Also receiving the grateful thanks of the Club and gifts were Hedley Edwards who has raised more than £1000 for the Club this season and young Adam Davies who recently did a sponsored bus ride.
