22 Mar 2003 : Runcorn lose to Gainsborough Trinity 5-0
The opening few minutes looked promising for Runcorn, but it was not to be. Runcorn conceded 5 goals, and were unable to score any of their own. Liam Watson managed to waste Runcorn's best chance of the match, a penalty for handling the ball in the area, by punting the ball over the bar. Match Report
20 Mar 2003 : Charity Money
As a result of Runcorn FC Halton reaching the first round proper of the FA Cup they have received a cheque for £8,100 for their nominated charity. The cheque will be presented to the charity at a future home game and will be used to help homeless and disadvantaged youngsters in Halton.
18 Mar 2003 : Runcorn lose to Lancaster City 4-1
Runcorn found themselves 1-0 down after just 7 minutes, and this was doubled after 29 minutes. Dominic Morley, with nobody around him, suffered what was obviously a painful injury after turning his ankle, had to be replaced with David Ness. In the second half, after 67 minutes it was 3-0. Despite having a number of attempts cleared off the line, Runcorn could only manage a consolation goal from Chris Price in the 89th minute, the solace from which was short lived, as Lancaster made it 4-1 seconds later. 15 Mar 2003 : Runcorn draw with Gainsborough 1-1
A Gainsborough goal in the first half hour put the home side in front. Chris Lightfoot equalised in the last ten minutes of the game. Match Report
12 Mar 2003 : Runcorn lose to Stalybridge 4-2
Runcorn were down to 10 men after just 4 minutes when Chris Lightfoot was sent off for handling the ball in the area. Tony McMillan saved the penalty, but Stalybrige scored after 13 minutes. Runcorn managed to qualise from a penalty just a few minutes later, but by half time it was 3-1 to the visitors.
Matty McGinn pulled one back in the second half, but Stalybridge manged to hold their lead, reinforcing it in the final minute with a fourth goal. Match Report
