Runcorn FC Halton have been drawn at home to Chorley in the second round of the Unibond Cup Competition. Match to be played to a conclusion on Wednesday 20th November 2002 7.45pm Kick Off.

John Ryder has joined Trafford and Mike Edwards has been released.

Kevin Leadbetter was carried off during the second half of the match against Frickley. Fortunately the injury does not seem to be as serious as was first feared as nothing is broken. However, he faces a race against time to get fit for Saturday's game at Blyth.

Runcorn were beaten by Frickley at the Halton Stadium by one goal to nil.

Following Blyth Spartan's 3-1 win over Durham City, Runcorn will play Blyth at Croft Park on 26th October in the fourth qualifying round of the FA Cup.
