08 Oct 2002 : Runcorn lose to Barrow 3-0

After a promising start and having most of the play in the first half, Runcorn FC Halton fell behind just on the stroke of half-time. Although the Linnets looked like getting back into the game, a mistake in the midfield allowed Barrow a quick break to score their second. Barrow added a third shortly before the end of the game. Promising debut from Matty McGinn.

05 Oct 2002 : Runcorn FC Halton beat Harrogate 2-1

Two first half goals from Lee Parle and Dominic Morley (his first for the Club) enabled Runcorn to secure victory against Harrogate despite an anxious last 15 minutes after the away side had pulled a goal back when Mike Tomlinson deflected a shot past Tony McMillan.

30 Sep 2002 : FA Cup Draw

Runcorn FC Halton have been drawn away at Ashton United in the 3rd qualifying round of the FA Cup. Match to be played on 12th October.

29 Sep 2002 : Draw for the FA Cup

The draw for the third qualifying round will be available around lunchtime on Monday 30th September. Matches will be played over the weekend 12th/13th October.

29 Sep 2002 : Stalybridge game off

The midweek match at Stalybridge has been postponed and we await a rearranged date. Stalybridge drew 2-2 with Workington on Saturday with two goals in the final minutes and will replay on Tuesday.
