05 May 2002 : Unibond Promotion/Relegation News

Play offs to be played on 6th May:
    Bamber Bridge v Radcliffe Borough
    Ashton United v Spennymoor United

Winner of first match at home will play the winner of second match on Thursday 9th May to determine who will be in Premier Division next season.

Bishop Auckland have been relegated because the ground that they are using next season was not up to the necessary standard on the required date. They are replaced by Harrogate Town.

The other promotion place was occupied by Ossett Town whose ground was also not up to the necessary standard on the required date so they have not been promoted - so Hyde have therefore survived and Bamber Bridge are in the play offs.
