23 Feb 2002 : Runcorn Lose to Emley 1-0

Despite playing well, Runcorn condeded defeat to Emley at their Belle Vue ground.

20 Feb 2002 : Watson and Ellis extend contracts

The club are pleased to announce that Manager, Liam Watson, has signed an extension to his contract, and Peter Ellis has signed a 1 year extension, cementing even further his position as the longest serving Runcorn player.

"We are delighted that Liam has signed a new contract", said Club Chairman Dr David Robertson. "We have been impressed with the commitment of Liam and Neil since their appointment as the management team in September 2000. They have worked extremely hard during what has been a difficult time for the club and have operated admirably within the financial restrictions imposed upon them. We now need to a period of stability for the Club and we look forward to working with Liam and Neil to move the club forward to achieve our long term objectives."

19 Feb 2002 : Marine Match Off

Following a final pitch inspection, the match against Marine at Rossett Park has been postponed.

16 Feb 2002 : Runcorn beat Accrington Stanley 1-0

A goal from Mike Tomlinson after 20 minutes saw Runcorn take a lead they were to hold until the final whistle.

09 Feb 2002 : Runcorn beat Hucknall Town 2-1

Despite new stiker Matty McNeil getting injured after just 2 minutes, Runcorn managed to pull back a 1-0 deficit to their favour, leaving the scoreline at 1-2 against Hucknall Town.
