13 Oct 2001 : Runcorn and Bedlington Terriers require replay after 2-2 result at AutoQuest

Bedlington Terriers went 1-0 after 11 mins. Paul McNally equalised after about 35 minutes putting the score at 1-1 at half time.

A shirt pulling incident on Paul McNally lead to Liam Watson scoring a penalty, before having to be substituted by David Ness due to an injury. Bedlington managed to equalise, and force the replay on Wednesday 17th October at Bedlington's Ground, Welfare Park, with about 5 minutes to go.

Mike Tomlinson deserves a mention for fantastic commitment, and we hope the shoulder injury he sustained in the second half wasn't too serious.

By half time Runcorn were two goals down to hosts Colwyn Bay. Goals from Neil Whalley, Steve Carragher, and Liam Watson put Runcorn into the lead, but just minutes from the end Colwyn managed to equalise.
