18 Nov 2019 : Trio of signings at Runcorn Linnets
Runcorn Linnets have welcomed three newcomers into the fold - goalkeeper Michael Emery (who made his debut at Ramsbottom United on Saturday), midfielder Louis Hayes and striker Sean Mullan.
Michael arrives from North West Counties League Premier Division club Rylands, having started the season in the BetVictor Northern Premier League South East Division with Lincoln United, where he had been since 2016-17.
Much of Michael's career has been spent in his native Lincolnshire, his other clubs including Gainsborough Trinity and hometown Boston United in National League North.
Now aged 29, he has also served St Albans City in Conference South.
Louis is a recent Academy graduate at Chester FC from where he joins Runcorn on loan.
After signing his first professional deal at the Swansway Chester Stadium in August this year, Louis has had temporary spells at Burscough in the NWCL top flight and at NPL Premier Division outfit Bamber Bridge.
A physical central midfielder Louis, who is from Halewood, joined Chester in 2017 from Blackburn Rovers.
Sean, 23, is a one-time Sheffield Wednesday Under 18s player, who represented Northern Ireland at youth and U19s levels.
He has more recently been at university in San Diego and follows fellow US graduates Tom Owens and Declan McGivern into the ranks at The Millbank Linnets Stadium.
The 6ft 3in front man had been playing local football in County Donegal.
We wish all three signings every success in their time at the club.
