25 Sep 2019 : Runcorn Linnets mourn popular fan Lee Chesterson
Everyone involved with Runcorn Linnets is deeply saddened by the passing of life long Linnets supporter Lee Chesterson.
Lee was a supporter of both Runcorn FC and then Runcorn Linnets, travelling the length and breadth of the country to follow his beloved Linnets.
Pictured here in his yellow and green kilt, he was an effervescent and very popular member of the "Left Side Ultras" at The Millbank Linnets Stadium.
Lee served on the Trust Board of Runcorn Linnets, in 2017, as a co-opted member.
The club will be holding a minute's applause in tribute to Lee before Saturday's FA Trophy match versus Marine.
We also send our deepest sympathy to Lee's wife, Sarah and family at this very sad time.
