23 Feb 2019 : Wigan Athletic goalkeeper Jordan Perrin makes debut for Runcorn Linnets
Goalkeeper Jordan Perrin made his Runcorn Linnets debut in this afternoon's 2-2 draw after joining the Linnets on loan from Wigan Athletic.
Jordan has been with the Latics since March 2016 and graduated from their Academy to sign professional forms this summer.
He had spent two years in their Under 18s, saving a penalty in the EFL Youth Alliance Cup final against Luton Town at the end of 2017-18.
The Kent-born 'keeper is physically powerful, has good ability in his shot stopping and dominates his area well.
He arrived at Wigan from Arsenal, having also represented Charlton Athletic.
This season has already seen Jordan spend time on loan firstly in the Hallmark Security League with Stockport Town and then at FC United of Manchester of National League North.
We welcome Jordan to the Millbank Linnets Stadium.

Ronnie McCarthy received a Yellow Card for The Linnets in the 44th minute. In the 46th minute the Linnets substituted Danny O'Brien for Frank Jones. In the 54th minute Paul Shanley equalised from inside the 6 yard box with a fantastic touch. Steve Mason received a Yellow Card for Mossley AFC in the 60th minute. In the 62nd minute Kurt Sherlock put the Linnets ahead from a brilliant free-kick from 20 yards out. Kurt Sherlock received a Yellow Card for The Linnets in the 65th minute. In the 66th minute the Linnets substituted Liam O'Neill for Ryan Gibson. Louis Corrigan received a Red Card for The Linnets in the 69th minute. Mossley AFC equalised in the 70th minute with a penalty from Max Leonard. In the 77th minute Mossley AFC substituted Keiran Nolan for Gary Gee. Peter Wylie received a Yellow Card for The Linnets in the 78th minute. In the 85th minute the Linnets substituted Kurt Sherlock for Mitch Bryant. 16 Feb 2019 : New recruit signs up for defensive duty with Runcorn Linnets
Michael Ellison has boosted his Runcorn Linnets defence with the capture of 19-year-old Frank Jones.
Frank is a versatile former Blackburn Rovers defender, who made 11 appearances as a centre back in the Under 18s Premier League between August 2016 and March 2018.
He also had two Rovers outings in the FA Youth Cup and played once in Premier League 2.
Frank has already played this season in EVO-STIK League West Division for Colne and, more recently, Glossop North End. He also had a spell at Curzon Ashton.

16 Feb 2019 : Runcorn beat Clitheroe 0-5
In the 10th minute Liam O'Neill gave the Linnets the advantage after a fantastic touch that drilled into the bottom right corner from inside the 6 yard box. In the 13th minute Kurt Sherlock put us a further goal clear from just inside the area from a fantastic shot. Louis Corrigan received a Yellow Card for The Linnets in the 27th minute. In the 33rd minute from just outside the 6 yard box with a cracking volley Paul Shanley extended our lead. In the 41st minute the Linnets substituted Zac Aley for Mitch Bryant. Mitch Bryant put us four goals clear in the 2nd minute of added time of the first half from close range from a cheeky back-heel. At half-time Clitheroe substituted Josh Gregory for Antoine Recizac. In the 46th minute Clitheroe substituted Andreas Bianga for Ryan Botell. Mitch Bryant added another to our tally from just outside the 6 yard box following a firmly-placed kick in the 46th minute. In the 63rd minute Clitheroe substituted Harry Pratt for James Sloane. In the 67th minute the Linnets substituted Kurt Sherlock for Bobby Evans. 14 Feb 2019 : Linnets paired at home to Lairds in Senior Cup semi
The draw for the Cheshire Senior Cup semi-finals has handed Runcorn Linnets a home draw.
We will entertain Cammell Laird 1907 on a date to be confirmed.
The winners of the tie will meet Nantwich Town or Stockport County in the final.
